Dr Indu Bhushan, President, iLEAP and four team members – Dr Jyoti Yadav, Ms Vasuki Rayapati, Ms Sneha Chetri and Ms Pompy Konwar attended the ‘Second Annual Research Conference on Global Lead Exposure’ organised by Center for Global Development and Partnership for a Lead-Free Future in London, United Kingdom on 3rd-4th May, 2026.
The conference brought together researchers, policymakers and implementers from across the globe to translate research into action and ensure a lead-free world.
5 our projects on cosmetics and ceramics; freshwater fish; state-wide study in Meghalaya; coal mine study in Odisha and the pediatric study across 7 AIIMS institutes were selected for showcase at the conference, and generated considerable interest and follow ups.
